The Mike Nock Trio

Since his first recordings with The Three Out Trio in 1960/61 pianist/composer Mike Nock has remained at the forefront of Australian jazz, continuing to attract critical acclaim and delight audiences worldwide. Mike is now recognised as one of the greats of Australian jazz; inducted into the Bell Awards at the Australian Jazz Hall of Fame in 2009, and the Don Banks Music awards 2014

When a department store Santa claims he is the real Santa he is charged with fraud, declared insane and institutionalised. A young lawyer with a sceptical small daughter raised not to believe in fairy tales decides to defend him and argues in court that he is definitely the real thing.  Winner of three academy awards:  best original story, best writing- screenplay, and best actor in supporting role: Edmund Gwenn. ‘Miracle’ has been selected for preservation in the National Film Library as being culturally, historically and aesthetically significant.
